Full job description

We are seeking a creative and proactive Junior Social Media Manager to join our growing mortgage broking team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about digital marketing and eager to help Australians achieve their homeownership goals through engaging, informative, and trustworthy social media content.

You will be responsible for creating and managing content across our social media platforms, supporting marketing campaigns, and helping strengthen our brand presence online.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan, create, and schedule social media content (posts, reels, stories, and graphics) aligned with company goals and campaigns.
  • Maintain and grow the company’s presence on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
  • Write engaging captions and posts that communicate mortgage and finance concepts in an easy-to-understand way.
  • Monitor comments and messages, respond to client inquiries, and engage with followers professionally and promptly.
  • Assist in content ideation for campaigns, promotions, and community engagement.
  • Track social media analytics and prepare monthly performance reports.
  • Stay updated on social media trends, particularly within finance, property, and home loan markets.
  • Collaborate with management and other team members to ensure consistent brand messaging and compliance with industry guidelines.

Requirements:

  • 1–2 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing.

  • Experience or strong interest in finance, property, or home lending is highly regarded, but not essential.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.

  • Knowledge of content creation tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express).

  • Creative and detail-oriented, with an eye for layout and design.

  • Ability to translate complex finance or mortgage topics into simple, engaging content.

  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks or campaigns.

  • Basic understanding of social media analytics and performance tracking.
