We're looking for a Cloud Engineer who is passionate about open source and excited to help scale impactful software used by cloud-native enterprises. In this role, you'll contribute to the development of an end-to-end open source project focused on cloud cost visibility and governance. You'll play a key role in building robust tooling, managing external contributions, and fostering community engagement to drive widespread adoption.  
 

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain CLI tools, APIs, and cloud integrations
• Contribute high-quality code and documentation in a GitHub-first workflow
• Engage with the community through issues, discussions, and pull requests
• Implement functionality based on architecture specifications and FinOps principles
   

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Demonstrated open source contributions (public GitHub profile required)
• Strong understanding of AWS and Azure, with a focus on IAM/access management
• Basic understanding of deploying in docker and building on external APIs
• Familiarity with GCP and AWS, Azure & GCP cost APIs/tools
• Python, Docker, Public Cloud APIs and CLI development experience
• Experience working in open source environments: GitHub repo management, issues, branching, community collaboration
• FinOps knowledge or certification (we will sponsor relevant certification)
